I was addicted to both Oxynorm and Oxycontin for two years. I slowly weaned myself off them by using the powder in the Oxynorm capsules, and slowly decreasing the amount of powder I ingested every day. It was acurate and it was slow enough to not cause major withdrawals. I am free from these drugs although I have a surplus of them. What is the right way to dispose of these highly addictive drugs? I have over 5 boxes of oxycontin 40mg and oxynorm 20mg.
