Canadian officials are finding out that social anxiety problems range from those introverted individuals to the social butterflies. Either extreme side of the spectrum can have a negative effect on an individual’s life. These psychological problems can be greatly maximized through the use of drugs. They are many times uncontrollable and can result in negative and even fatal happenings. Yes, the misuse of drugs can have devastating end results.
The “loner”, an individual who is socially dysfunctional, is a well known trait of a drug addict. This person may enjoy being alone, out of habit, or due to the use of illicit drugs. On the other extreme, social anxiety symptoms can affect the Canadian society when it comes to productivity and crime related activities. With the decrease of drug use, these individuals usually return to normalcy.
There are some individuals who take illicit drugs to lose weight. These are those Canadian individuals who are influenced by celebs who are thin .They become obsessed with these images and abuse drugs, never thinking that they will become addicted so quickly. When their addiction takes hold, they become depressed and show immediate signs of anxiety.
There are those “middle of the road” individuals who tend to go either one way, or the other, They are addicted to drugs, but somehow manage to work and engage in normal activities with their families. These are the addicts who are very difficult to cure, since they feel that they are functioning adequately.
Some signs or social anxiety symptoms might include emotional actions prior to an attack, thus relating to anger, fear, sadness, etc. Of course, many of these actions are triggered by the use and/ or addiction to illicit and illegal drugs.
All of the above social anxiety symptoms do quite frequently lead to mental breakdowns, as well as deep depressions, which can be cured by detoxing from drugs coupled by therapy and counseling sessions.
All in all, addicts behave in an irrational fashion much of the time. This is the reason why Canada is working hard to treat and cure drug addicts, before it is too late!
